How big does my backyard need to be for a 6 person hot tub?

The myHotTub is 2.19 metres across and about 0.9 metres high. We recommend allowing at least half a metre of clear space around it for safe access and cover lifting.

Why choose a round hot tub instead of a square or rectangular one?

Round spas offer a different kind of experience and a retro style. With everyone seated in a circle, it feels more social and relaxed. The continuous bench lets people move around easily, and evenly spaced jets give every seat consistent hydrotherapy.

The myHotTub is about 915mm deep, which comfortably covers shoulders for most adults when seated. The round bench lets you sit lower or higher depending on how much soak you want.

Is a 6 person hot tub expensive to run?

Not with the right setup. The myHotTub is built with energy efficiency in mind, using SpaNET™ smart controls, a variable output heater and full Heatlock™ insulation to retain warmth without overworking the system. We tell customers to expect around $2 to $3 a day to keep it hot and ready year-round, even in winter.

How easy is it to clean and maintain a round hot tub?

The smooth circular shape makes cleaning simple, no tight corners for grime to hide. The myHotTub has a built-in filtration pump and optional ozone or Clearzone™ sanitisation to keep water fresh with minimal chemicals.

Do I need council approval for the myHotTub in Sydney?

Generally, portable hot tubs under 2,000 litres like the myHotTub don’t need a full development approval. But you must follow NSW pool fencing rules for safety. We can handle all this for you as part of our installation service.
