If you’re here for 4-person spa pools, you’ll find a little more space with our 5-person range.
Our 4-person range includes premium plunge pools and swim spas, designed for year-round swimming and hydrotherapy without the cost of installing a full-sized swimming pool.
Step into warm water, swim against the jets, or walk laps for low-impact exercise. When you’re ready to rest, settle into a hydrotherapy seat and relax as powerful jets melt away the day.
Book your test swim at our Castle Hill showroom and find out why so many Sydney families are ditching the expensive swimming pool for our Australian-made plunge pools and swim spas.
“We have just recently had our work completed for our amazing M5 Workout Extreme by the team at mySpa Sydney. It was a breeze to arrange, from initial discussions through to the on-site works. We did a lot of research before committing to this purchas,e as it was a large financial commitment for us. After looking at every spa place we could get to in Sydney and comparing things like place of manufacture (for spa), quality of materials, installation and landscaping, legal compliance and peace of mind, there was no doubt that MySpa was the only option for us. It’s great to know we are getting an Australian-made product (from Melbourne), made with quality materials and a great local support network. The end result is a space in our backyard that our whole family loves.”

A 4-person plunge pool is usually kept cool for summer relief, contrast therapy, or for the kids to play, while a 4-person swim spa is heated and fitted with jets for swimming in place, resistance training, and hydrotherapy. Both suit four adults, but the plunge pool is for refreshing immersion, whereas the swim spa is a year-round fitness and recovery experience.
Yes. Our compact swim spas, such as the myWorkout 4.5m, are made for training or rehabilitation. The jets are adjustable from 2–8km/h to create a genuine current for swimming in place, aqua aerobics, or water jogging. You get a true workout in a much smaller footprint (and cost!) than a swimming pool, while still having hydrotherapy seats to relax in afterwards.
Think of it as the “sweet spot.” Larger 6–8m swim spas give you more room for multiple swimmers or family play, but they also need more space, water, and energy to run. A 4-person swim spa offers a balance: enough volume for fitness and recovery, but efficient to heat, clean, and maintain. Many Sydney families choose this size because it doesn’t dominate their backyard.
The cost ultimately depends on whether you heat the water. Thanks to our innovative SpaNet™ control systems and optional heat pumps, daily running costs sit around $3–$9, depending on usage and whether you heat the water. That’s up to 75% less than basic element heating and significantly cheaper to run than a traditional pool, saving Sydney households thousands of dollars every year.
Yes. In NSW, any spa or plunge pool over 2,000L requires a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or similar approval. At mySpa Sydney, we handle the entire process, including liaising with council, securing permits, and ensuring your installation meets all safety regulations, including fencing, CPR signage, and Swimming Pool Register compliance.
Maintenance is straightforward with the right guidance. Filters should be rinsed every fortnight and deep-cleaned quarterly, while water chemistry should be checked weekly (pH 7.2–7.6, alkalinity 125–150ppm). You’ll also refresh water periodically: a partial drain every 3–4 months and a full change once a year. We train you on every step during handover, and our team provides ongoing support with chemicals, servicing, and advice.
A reinforced concrete slab (minimum 150mm thick) on level ground is essential, with at least half a metre of clearance for servicing. Many Sydney homeowners choose to integrate their spa into entertaining areas or landscape it into a private garden corner. Our team handles site assessments, compliance checks, and can coordinate decking, steps, or screening so your spa looks like it belongs.
Yes. You can choose from a wide range of acrylic shell colours and cabinet finishes, including natural cedar and modern low-maintenance options. Landscaping and decking integration make it easy to match your spa to your home’s style, whether you’re after something sleek and minimalist or a resort-inspired retreat.
This size is ideal for couples who want to exercise together, small families, or anyone looking for a pool-style experience without the full investment of a traditional pool. It’s also a popular choice for downsizers and urban homeowners who want the benefits of swimming and hydrotherapy in a compact, efficient package.
